Company History
Above Board Contracting was established in 2021 in Cache Valley. However, I have been involved in the construction and concrete industries for over a decade.
Although we now specialize in large commercial and residential jobs, I have also done many agricultural projects, framing everything from machinery shops to horse arenas. I have also done extensive concrete cribbing as well as thousands of square feet of flat work, including stamped concrete and exposed aggregate. In 2017 when I started my own company, I began with a spec house which I built and sold in 6 months. Since then, I have built many houses from the foundation up, including a number of houses with attached garages. One of the houses I built was on a Superior Walls of America foundation. I became sold on this concept and am now a licensed dealer and installer of Superior Walls.
My goal is to build a relationship with clients that maintains trust from the start to the finish of the project.

Building Trust during the Project
ABC’s focus is residential framing to the dry-in stage; this also includes house wrap and window and door installation. Also, we are here for all your concrete needs from new construction pouring to tearing out old concrete as well as replace and finish. For those fancier projects, we can employ our experience with stamped and exposed aggregate as well.
When it comes to house foundations, we sell and install Superior Walls of America foundations. This pre-cast product, now made in Colorado, originally migrated from PA where it has stood the test of time for over three decades. Superior Walls foundations come insulated and ready to wire with the electrical chases poured in. Why spend extra money and time to have a 9' basement installed when Superior Walls comes standard and you don’t have to frame out a basement with lumber and insulation and install a vapor barrier?
These foundations are ready to wire and install drywall on in as little as an afternoon. In fact, our average time to install a house foundation is ONE DAY! The next morning you are ready for underground plumbing and above-ground framing. These walls come with both engineered drawings and an engineering stamp. Window and door placement is up to you with two different window styles to choose from.
Another smaller sideline for us is installing gravel pads for those ever-popular storage sheds. If you are needing a gravel pad for your newly purchased shed, reach out to us. Placing it on gravel will greatly extend its life compared to setting it directly on the dirt.
